Spanish literature I would say that I mostly agree with my colleague Manuela Vigara about her criteria on Spanish literature but these are my personal choices.
Catalan Literature Eight million people in Catalonia Valencia and the Balearic Islands speak Catalan. The number of speakers is bigger than Danish speakers for example. This language has and old and rich literature that begins at the same times that the other Romance language's literatures. Many Catalan authors from all ages are being translated into all modes.
Literature: Philip Marsden, The Bronski House Philip Marsden, The Bronsky House, A Journey Back (1995), gives a narrative about a Polish landowner family in the borderlands between Poland and Russia during the first part of the 20th century.
